IMS Drones has formalised a partnership with AIDIMME Technological Institute, one of the leading technology centres in the Valencian Region and a member of REDIT, with over 40 years of experience in industrial innovation across the metalworking, advanced manufacturing and new materials sectors.

A meeting to explore joint capabilities

The collaboration was sealed during a visit by the IMS team to AIDIMME's facilities at the Paterna Technology Park. There we presented our technology and current lines of work, and identified concrete avenues for cooperation in drones, advanced manufacturing, technical testing and new R&D&I projects.

“We have found in AIDIMME a highly advanced technology centre, with professionals who are keen to take on new challenges and genuinely interested in the technologies we develop,” say the IMS Drones team.

Testing and additive manufacturing: the two key areas

AIDIMME's equipment and technical resources match two critical needs in UAS platform development: testing and additive manufacturing. Both are decisive when validating and improving solutions for industrial environments, where reliability and repeatability requirements are at their highest.

High performance in flight, communications and safety

IMS technology relies on optimised aerodynamics that balance stability, endurance and resistance in demanding conditions: our platforms withstand gusts of over 19 m/s while maintaining high endurance. We have also successfully developed and tested a solution exceeding 40 km of range, with communications and safety improvements driven by specific customer requests. We are currently working on a new model aiming to surpass four hours of endurance.

Next steps

The partnership opens the door to new joint R&D&I lines and collaborative projects that bring IMS drone technology closer to concrete industrial applications.
