The search for people in forested environments is one of the most complex challenges facing rescue units. Dense vegetation, reduced visibility and unpredictable weather demand tools that go beyond the conventional.
Last week, at IMS we took a firm step forward in this area. In collaboration with WEITEC, we conducted an operational demonstration before representatives of the State Security Forces and various public bodies, focused on locating people in high-difficulty forest areas.

Although the primary objective was AI-based location, there was a technical factor that made an immediate impact on the professionals in attendance: the stability of the Kite drone.
Despite wind gusts present during the demonstration, the Kite maintained remarkable steadiness. This stability is not just a safety matter — it is what allows the AI system to capture sharp images and process data without interruption, guaranteeing operational continuity even when the weather turns adverse.
